Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden, hotel in Dresden, Germany
The Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden is a hotel in the historic center of Dresden, situated along the Elbe riverbank facing the Old Town skyline. The property combines a restored baroque palace from the 18th century with a modern wing built in the late 20th century.
The baroque palace at the heart of the property dates to the 18th century and survived the wartime destruction of Dresden only in part. It was restored and extended with a new building in the second half of the 20th century to serve as a hotel.
Der Name „Bellevue
The hotel sits right on the Elbe riverbank, within easy walking distance of the Semper Opera, the Zwinger, and the Frauenkirche. The riverside promenade in front of the building is a good starting point for walks along the river in either direction.
The hotel preserves several original baroque rooms inside that were uncovered during renovation and can be seen by guests today. These spaces give a direct sense of what the original palace looked like, something that is not apparent from the outside.
