St. Benedikt is a Catholic church in Neuhaus im Solling, sitting along Federal Road 497 and defined by its freestanding bell tower of exposed concrete. The walls are clad with Obernkirchen sandstone, giving the modern building a warm, natural appearance.
Construction of the church began in summer 1974, and Bishop Heinrich Maria Janssen consecrated it on May 29, 1976. The architect Hubert Ohmes combined reinforced concrete with traditional sandstone elements in the design.
The church received three bronze bells in 1986, named Nicolai, Benedikt, and Georg, adding musical dimension to religious services.
The church serves as a branch of St. Josef parish in Holzminden and is accessible to the Catholic community in the Weserbergland deanery. Visitors can easily find the building along Federal Road 497, where its distinctive bell tower makes it clearly visible.
