Wildpark Neuhaus

The Wildpark Neuhaus extends across 50 hectares of natural terrain within the Naturpark Solling-Vogler, displaying native animals in spacious enclosures.

Established in 1962, the park grounds feature remnants of 16th-century royal horse stables, including ancient paddocks and traditional dry stone walls.

The park organizes daily falconry presentations from April to October, demonstrating traditional hunting techniques and sharing knowledge about local birds of prey.

Visitors can explore the park through a 2.5-kilometer circular path, with operating hours from 9:00 to 19:00 during summer and 9:00 to 17:00 in winter.

The mid-18th century oak avenue serves as the main pathway through the park, lined with trees planted under forest officials' supervision.
