Berliner Hof, Heritage guesthouse in Nauen, Germany
The Berliner Hof stands at Goethestrasse 54 with a decorative stucco facade, timber-framed construction, and a side wing containing a kitchen and hall.
The front building dates from 1710, constructed after the great fire of Nauen in 1695, with modifications to the street facade made in 1901.
The building functioned as a meeting point for travelers and locals until 1991, hosting numerous social gatherings and community celebrations throughout its operation.
The structure underwent recent ownership changes with plans to restore its original function as a hotel and restaurant after years of minimal maintenance.
Between 1945 and 1958, the German Red Cross utilized the building before its return to hospitality services as a restaurant establishment.
