Moni Kleiston

Moni Kleiston is an Orthodox monastery in Fyli Municipality situated at approximately 600 meters elevation on Mount Parnassus, combining traditional Greek Orthodox architecture with Byzantine design elements. The structure features stone walls with characteristic domes and a church at the center of the complex.

The monastery was founded around 1100 and developed through various renovations while preserving its original structure. Its long existence demonstrates the continuity of religious communities in this mountainous region spanning more than a millennium.
