The settlement remained continuously inhabited from the 6th century BC to the 1st century AD, featuring cyclopean walls and numerous storage silos carved into rock.
The excavated artifacts include Greek, Iberian, and Campanian ceramics, indicating the settlement's role as a trade center between different Mediterranean civilizations.

The site overlooks a pattern of wedge-shaped agricultural fields separated by irrigation ditches that converge in the center, created through 13th-century drainage systems.
