Aub enas is an administrative center in southern France, rising at 237 meters elevation between the Ard èche valley and mount ainous terrain. The town serves as a hub for 22 surrounding com munes, bringing together pub lic services, shops, and facilities in its core.
History
In 1084, the local bish op secured control over this area to build important fortificati ons. This medieval strong hold grew over the centuries into an administrative center for the surround ing region.
