Les Gets

Les Gets sits at 1,172 meters elevation between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, featuring about 120 kilometers of marked ski runs. The area is served by 48 lifts and connects to the Chavannes sector while also offering views toward Mont Blanc.

The settlement developed from a traditional mountain community into a major winter sports resort within the Portes du Soleil network of twelve interconnected areas. This transformation shows how alpine communities adapted to modern winter tourism.

The resort connects to local mountain traditions through specialized winter activities like electric snowmobile rides and dog sledding. These experiences keep alpine customs alive as part of the modern winter experience.
