Pont de Sully, Road bridge in France
Pont de Sully spans the River Seine in Paris, connecting the 4th and 5th arrondissements.
Constructed from 1876 to 1877, it was built to provide a direct route between the newly established Gare de Lyon and the heart of Paris.
Named after Maximilien de Béthune, Duke of Sully, who was the Grand Voyer of Paris under King Henry IV.
The Pont de Sully is located near notable landmarks like the Île Saint-Louis and the Panthéon.
It comprises two separate bridges, known as the Passerelle de Sully, that encircle the eastern tip of the Île Saint-Louis.
