Château d'Ollwiller

Château d'Ollwiller is a heritage château in Wuenheim that operates as a working wine producer growing varieties such as Crémant d'Alsace and Riesling Grand Cru. The estate spans agricultural land with south-facing slopes and uses its marly soil to cultivate wines that carry regional designations.

The château was founded in 1230 by the Waldner family as a property for the Bishop of Strasbourg and has shaped the region ever since. After its destruction during World War I, the building was reconstructed and remains an active estate today.
