Château de Vixouze

Château de Vixouze is a castle in Polminhac with a central square stone tower rising multiple stories, complemented by two wings from the 18th century. The complex includes a chapel and medieval rooms that together shape the overall character of the place.

The site was documented as a villa in 930 and developed by 1267 into a noble residence with a single tower. After the Hundred Years' War, the structure was rebuilt and received its current form.

The castle preserves its medieval architecture and serves today as a venue for weddings, seminars, and film productions. Visitors can see how the place blends traditional structures with contemporary use.
