Golf de Biarritz offers an 18-hole course with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the local lighthouse near the Basque coastline.
The golf course, inaugurated in 1888 by British residents, stands as the second oldest golf facility in continental Europe.
The course design by Harry Colt in 1920 brought international recognition to Biarritz and strengthened the French golf tradition.
The facility opens Monday through Sunday from 8:00 to 19:00, except Wednesdays, and includes a pro shop with equipment rental.
Players experience elevation changes throughout the course, with holes positioned between cliff tops and sea level sections.
