Gare de Royat - Chamalières, Historical railway station in Chamalières, France.
The main station building features a square central section with two lateral wings and a facade decorated with denticulated cornices.
The station, built between 1880 and 1890 under engineer Jules Martin's supervision, was established to serve the thermal resort of Royat.
The entrance hall maintains its original features with wooden paneling, a cornice-adorned ceiling, and nineteenth-century granito floor tiles.
The station provides two platforms, a vehicle parking area, and ticket machines for TER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional trains.
The cast iron canopy, supported by fluted pillars, extends across the entire facade and features decorative lion heads.
