Golf de la Boulie

Golf de la Boulie is a sprawling golf complex with three courses named La Vallée, La Forêt, and Le Coteau near Versailles. The grounds cover approximately 106 hectares and include a clubhouse with restaurant facilities and gathering spaces.

The club was founded in 1882 when students from Lycée Condorcet established it under Ferdinand de Lesseps' leadership. The members later purchased the La Boulie farm and transformed it into a golf facility.

The clubhouse features a restaurant called 18.82 and several lounges where members gather for sporting and social occasions. The setting reflects the refined tradition of an exclusive retreat for golf enthusiasts.

Weekday play requires advance reservations made through the secretariat, while weekend access needs a member invitation. Plan ahead and clarify booking arrangements in advance to ensure smooth entry to the courses.

In 1907, club professional Arnaud Massy won both the French Open and British Open championships. This achievement made him the first French golfer to accomplish this double, cementing the venue's place in golf history.
