Artouste is a ski resort in Ossau Valley that spreads across elevations from 1400 to 2100 meters, featuring around 27 kilometers of slopes through conifer forests. The facility includes ten ski lifts that serve terrain suitable for different skill levels.
The site began as a railway project in the 1920s created for hydroelectric dam construction in the region. It was later converted into a ski resort and officially opened to the public in 1967.
