The castle features a round tower with a conical roof and a polygonal tower named Tour Marguerite de Bourgogne against stone walls.

Built in 1650 by Philibert II Verchère d'Arcelot, the castle received a visit from King Henri IV during the Battle of Arnay-le-Duc in 1570.

The structure transformed through centuries from a noble residence to a textile factory, lime production facility, and educational center before becoming a restaurant.
