Château de Lichécourt, Medieval castle in Relanges, France.

The castle features two distinct towers and thick walls constructed with irregular sandstone blocks measuring one meter in width throughout its four levels.

Built in the 15th century by Jean de Thysac and Alix de Massy, the castle endured destruction during the Thirty Years War in 1635.

The castle originally served as residence for noble glassmakers from Bohemia who received special permission to practice their craft in Lorraine.

The main entrance, dating from the late 16th century, leads visitors through a series of human-sized rooms, each painted in different colors.

The north pavilion contains a feudal dovecote while the south pavilion houses a chapel where the lords of Lichecourt rest.
