Château de Septeuil is an 18th-century castle in a small village in the Île-de-France region, built on the remains of an earlier fortified site. The structure displays a classical layout with a central block and two pavilions, one of which features a circular music pavilion positioned near the courtyard.
The castle was built in the 18th century and was once owned by Louis Charles de Bourbon, a grandson of Louis XIV. It later became a sanatorium and now functions as a residential community with medical services.
The gardens and park, spanning 17 hectares, reflect the design principles of André Le Nôtre, the landscape architect of Palace of Versailles.
The castle operates as a private medical facility and is not available for tourist visits inside. You can appreciate the exterior and the surrounding parkland from outside the grounds.
