Château d'Oudon

Château d'Oudon is a medieval fortress featuring an octagonal tower that rises from a rocky outcrop above the Loire River. The structure combines thick stone walls with a central keep from which views extend over the valley and waterway.

The fortress was founded in the late 14th century and formed part of Breton defensive structures along the Loire. It played an important role in monitoring river trade and maintaining control over the waterway during medieval times.
