Château de la Prune-au-Pot

The castle features a square courtyard enclosed by walls with machicolations, one central square tower and two round towers forming a defensive structure.

The Pot family held this castle from the 14th century until 1502, during which time they became one of the most influential houses in the kingdom.

The interior rooms of the castle maintain 13th-century monumental fireplaces and spiral staircases demonstrating French medieval architecture.

The castle has two separate entrances with drawbridges, a large pointed arch gate and a small square door allowing different types of access.

The Fountain Tower contains a water reservoir supplied by a natural spring and features four carved gargoyles on its facade.
