Circuit du Luc, circuit automobile français
Circuit du Luc is a racing track located in Le Luc, a town in southern France, and serves as a venue for motorsport activities. The facility stretches approximately 2.4 kilometers with ten turns of varying sharpness combining left and right curves, with asphalt wide enough for vehicles to race side-by-side.
The track was built in 1965 and established itself over more than 50 years as a motorsport venue. In the 1980s, a racing team used the track for training before competing in Formula 1 races at the highest international level.
The name Circuit du Luc refers to the town of Le Luc in Provence. The track serves as a gathering place for motorsport fans from the region and beyond, where drivers and spectators share their passion for racing cars and motorcycles. Here clubs and groups meet regularly to nurture their interests and participate in events.
The venue is easily accessible via major roads and offers ample parking for visitors. The facility includes pit boxes for vehicle teams, meeting rooms, and relaxing and viewing areas for spectators and participants.
The facility is surrounded by a wooded area called a pinede covering about 61 hectares, offering spectators and participants a quiet place to walk and relax in nature. This green space lends the motorsport site a natural character and creates a counterbalance to racing activity.
