ZooParc du Cannet des Maures

ZooParc du Cannet des Maures spreads across about 4 hectares of Mediterranean landscape with paths leading through different animal habitats. Each area is designed for specific species, from open plains to specialized enclosures.

The zoo was established to bring animal species from around the world to the Var region and raise awareness about wildlife. Its development shows the area's growing focus on conservation efforts.

The zoo offers encounters with animal caretakers who explain how different species behave and live together in family groups. These moments help visitors understand wild animals and what they need to survive.

The park is easy to walk through with paths suited for different walking speeds, so visitors can move at their own pace. There are picnic areas and restaurants on site if you need to take a break.

A special area features Asian plains where Water Buffalo, Tibetan Yaks, and Tarpan horses graze together in the same space. Nearby, a large aviary houses around 300 bird species all in one place.
