Espaces d'Abraxas is a residential housing complex in Noisy-le-Grand consisting of three main structures named Le Palacio, Le Theatre, and L'Arc. These buildings reach 64 meters in height and house more than 590 apartments across 19 floors constructed entirely from concrete.
The government commissioned the project in 1978 during post-war urban development, with architect Ricardo Bofill completing it in 1983. The development arose to address housing shortages in the Paris region during a period of rapid urban expansion.
The complex mixes classical Greek and Roman design details with modern concrete construction, creating a distinctive postmodern residential setting. Residents and visitors can see classical columns and arcades woven throughout the contemporary structure.
