Palais de l'Industrie, former building in Paris
Palais de l'Industrie was an exhibition hall in Paris built to host major displays and events. The structure featured an innovative iron framework with extensive glass panels that allowed natural light to flood the interior space.
The hall was built for the 1855 World's Fair and represented a breakthrough in modern engineering. It was destroyed in 1871 and subsequently demolished.
The building no longer stands and survives only through historical photographs and records. Information about its former location and architectural importance can be found in Paris museums and archives.
