Le Meurice

Le Meurice occupies a neoclassical building across from Tuileries Garden, featuring 160 rooms decorated in Louis XVI style between Place de la Concorde and the Louvre.

The hotel started in 1815 as an establishment for English travelers, moving to its current location in 1835 to serve an international clientele.

The Royal Suite became the residence of Salvador Dali, who spent extended periods at the hotel and influenced its connection to art and creativity.

The property maintains 400 staff members to serve guests in its rooms, restaurants, spa facilities, and event spaces throughout the building.

During World War II, General von Choltitz used the hotel as his headquarters and made the decision not to destroy Paris despite orders.
