The Hôtel de Pomereu stands at 67 Rue de Lille, featuring an English garden, a grand courtyard, and intricate architectural details across its stone facade.
Built between 1872 and 1874 by architect Louis Thérèse David de Pénanrun, this mansion replaced two previous buildings destroyed during the Paris Commune of 1871.
The mansion contains multiple protected salons with 18th-century woodwork, including a ground floor oval salon and a yellow salon with marquetry flooring.
The building serves as offices for the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and opens to the public during European Heritage Days in September.
The mansion's grand staircase features an 18th-century painted ceiling, which received special protection status under French heritage laws in 1979.
