Jardins secrets de Vaulx

Jardins Secrets de Vaulx is a garden covering several areas with courtyards, galleries, paths, arbors, lounges, ponds, and fountains throughout. The site offers a range of different spaces and zones for visitors to explore and sit in.

The site was originally an old farm that Nicole and Alain Moumen purchased in 1980 and transformed together with their three daughters. The location opened to visitors in 1994.

The gardens draw design elements from regions like Tuscany, India, and the Alpine areas, with copper sculptures, clay, wood, mosaics, and decorative tiles shaping the overall look. This blend of different craft traditions creates a personal, handmade quality that appears throughout the space.

Access is best on foot, with paths connecting all the areas and making navigation straightforward. Plan enough time to explore the different zones at your own pace, especially if you want to discover the quieter corners.

The site offers the possibility of staying overnight in Micro Palaces, small tree houses that provide exclusive garden access during your stay. This experience turns a visit into an extended stay surrounded by nature.
