Majestic Bastille is a cinema in the 11th arrondissement of Paris with two screening rooms. Together these spaces hold roughly 350 seats and the theater sits on Boulevard Richard Lenoir.
Opened on 30 November 1933 as the Bastille-Palace, a neighbourhood cinema with a 500-seat hall and a balcony. In the 1960s it belonged to the Henri Douvin circuit, showing westerns, then in the 1970s peplums, action films and B movies. Split into two screens in September 1980, it showed erotic then X-rated films before closing on 1 December 1987. It reopened in 1995 as the Majestic Bastille, after the nearby Opéra Bastille opened.
