Mas de Daumas Gassac

The 50-hectare Mas de Daumas Gassac estate cultivates Cabernet Sauvignon as its primary grape variety, along with Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Tannat for red wines.

Founded in 1981 by Aimé and Véronique Guibert, the estate began its journey after geography professor Henri Enjalbert identified the land's exceptional potential for viticulture.

The winery produces between 120,000 and 150,000 bottles of red wine and 45,000 to 60,000 bottles of white wine annually without following traditional appellation rules.

Wine enthusiasts can experience guided tours of the underground cellars and vat house, followed by tasting sessions available in English and French throughout the year.

The estate's microclimate and soil composition enable the production of wines that rival prestigious Bordeaux labels while maintaining their status as Vin de Pays de l'Hérault.
