The Jardin des Plantes extends across 1.5 hectares, featuring winding paths, a pond, a waterfall, and a collection of hundred tree species.
Founded in 1621 by Dean of Medicine Paschal Le Coq, the garden relocated eight times before establishing its current location in 1869.
The garden maintains 30 educational beds with labeled plants covering 1700 square meters, serving as a resource for medicine students and researchers.
The garden opens from 8 AM to 5 PM between November and February, and from 7:55 AM to 8:30 PM from March through October.
A tropical greenhouse of 200 square meters houses 145 exotic plant species, including bromeliads, orchids, and various cacti specimens.
