Parc de Brimborion, Public park in Sèvres, France
Parc de Brimborion is a public park in Sèvres covering roughly 4.5 hectares, spread across elevated terraces alongside the Seine River. The grounds offer views toward Boulogne-Billancourt, Paris, and Mont Valérien.
The pavilion was acquired in 1750 by Madame de Pompadour and served as a meeting place with Louis XV for court gatherings and meals. The site became established as a royal retreat along the Seine.
The park retains features of an 18th-century English garden with preserved rock formations and an ice house from that period. Visitors can encounter these historical structures while walking through the grounds.
The park is accessible daily and can be reached easily by tramway Line T2 at the Brimborion station. The paths are well-maintained and allow comfortable walking across the different levels.
The park contains a pony club where children can learn horseback riding and spend time with animals in the natural setting beside the Seine. This offering makes it an unusual spot for hands-on learning and recreation near Paris.
