Savoie Grand Revard, Nordic ski area in Massif des Bauges, France.
Savoie Grand Revard is a Nordic skiing area in the Massif des Bauges with more than 140 kilometers of trails through forested terrain. The resort is made up of three base stations called Le Revard, La Féclaz, and Saint François de Sales that together form a connected skiing network.
Winter sports facilities first developed in this region during the 1950s, transforming traditional mountain pastures into an organized skiing destination. Since then the area has grown into a recognized center for cross-country skiing.
The mountain stations feature wooden chalets that reflect local Savoyard building traditions, and restaurants along the slopes serve regional food specialties. Visitors experience this authentic character while dining and exploring the villages during their stay.
The area is best visited between December and March when trails are groomed and most services operate. Equipment rentals, ski schools, and accommodations are located directly at the three base stations.
This is France's most visited Nordic skiing destination, and the trails include both classic cross-country routes and skating style tracks. The range of different track styles makes it appealing to skiers of varying abilities.
