Villa Cypris

Villa Cypris is a three-story residence featuring Neo-Byzantine design with a colonnade facing the Mediterranean Sea in Cap Martin. The property spreads across terraced gardens connected by multiple staircases that descend toward the water and frame the building's ornamental approach.

Architect Édouard Arnaud designed the building in 1912 for its original owners after they purchased the land in 1911. The structure later gained protection as a historic monument and received recognition for its 20th-century architectural importance.

The name comes from Cyprienne Dubernet, one of the original owners, and the gardens still reflect the careful design of landscape architect Raffaële Maïnella. The terraces and pathways guide visitors through spaces where building and nature work together in a considered way.
