The museum's origins trace back to 1863, with a significant transformation in 1980 when it evolved into an ecomuseum focusing on regional industrial heritage.

The textile museum section presents reconstructed 19th-century streets and operational weaving machines that demonstrate the region's manufacturing techniques.

Visitors can access both museum sites from Tuesday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with weekend hours from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The glass workshop museum in Trélon maintains active glass-blowing demonstrations where craftsmen create pieces using traditional methods.
