The exterior of St. Georges Church combines symmetrical shapes with grand columns that follow the principles of neoclassical architectural design.
The construction of St. Georges Church began in 1846 under architect Corrard des Essarts and reached completion in 1851.
The stained glass windows, created by the Benoît workshops after World War II, depict Saint George, the Virgin Mary, and Saint Catherine.
Visitors can find St. Georges Church at 63 Avenue du XXe Corps, within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nancy-Toul jurisdiction.
The church contains an 1861 organ attributed to Cavaillé-Coll, along with a collection of statues including Saint George defeating the dragon by Nicolas Lépy.
