Zénith de Strasbourg, Music and sports venue in Eckbolsheim, France
The Zénith de Strasbourg is a multipurpose hall for concerts and sports events in Eckbolsheim near Strasbourg, with space for more than 12,000 visitors. The facility is characterized by a contemporary architectural concept with curved lines and a spacious interior layout.
Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas designed the building, which opened in January 2008 and represents the most recent large hall in the French Zénith network. The facility was built as part of a larger sports park intended to expand the cultural offer in greater Strasbourg.
The hall serves as a meeting point for concert-goers and sports fans from across the region, who come to see international stars and major competitions. The name Zénith refers to a network of large venues built in several French cities since the 1980s.
The hall is located in the Parc des Sports and can be reached by tram line A, with ample parking available around the site. Visitors should allow some time before events start due to the size of the facility, to find their seats comfortably.
With its capacity, this location is the largest among all French Zénith halls and was specifically designed to be used for both concerts and sports events. The acoustics can be adapted to each type of event thanks to movable elements.
