Église Notre Dame de Romigier, Romanesque church in central Manosque, France.

Église Notre-Dame-de-Romigier is a Romanesque church in central Manosque featuring a nave from the 12th century and a Renaissance entrance portal, with side aisles added later to expand the interior space. The building displays different architectural periods evident in its varied stylistic elements throughout the interior.

The site was inhabited from the first century before the original church was built in the 5th century, then completely rebuilt in the 10th century. These reconstructions mark the location's development as a center of religious life across multiple centuries.

The church houses an ancient marble tomb from early Christian times that now serves as the altar, showing the site's continuous religious importance across centuries. Visitors can directly experience this artistic link to the past when viewing the altar area.

The site is open throughout the year with no entrance fee, allowing visitors to come whenever convenient for them. Dogs are also welcome inside, so visitors with pets can enter without any difficulties.

An 11th-century Black Madonna statue resides in this building and ranks among the oldest Marian representations in all of France. The statue was classified as a historical monument in 1902, making it a significant example of early Marian devotion.
