This fortified position near the Rhine River served as part of the Maginot Line defenses during the German assault from June 15 to 18, 1940.

The museum facility maintains regular visiting hours and provides detailed information about the fortification systems used during World War II.
The structure retains its original military architecture with a JM dome, a GFM dome, and three slots specifically designed for machine gun rifles.
