Esplanade Habib-Bourguiba

Esplanade Habib-Bourguiba is a public walkway along the Quai d'Orsay stretching about 360 meters with a width of 16 meters. It features trees, landscaped green areas, and multiple benches that create a pleasant setting for walking and resting.

The project arose from an agreement between Paris and Tunisia to honor the diplomatic relations between the two countries. A bronze sculpture depicting one of Tunisia's founders was placed at this location and serves as a symbol of their connection.

This esplanade honors a founding leader of Tunisia and creates a space where visitors can experience the connection between France and Tunisia. The wide pathway with its trees and seating areas invites people to linger and take in the surrounding architecture.

The walkway is easily accessible and connects to nearby streets and transit routes in the neighborhood. Visitors will find several resting spots along the way and can explore the location at any time of day.

The location offers views of the Seine and often features exhibitions or installations documenting Tunisian-French history. These artistic works change over time, giving visitors fresh perspectives on the place's significance.
