The Chinese Culture Center occupies 4,000 square meters within two buildings connected by a courtyard at Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg in Paris.
In April 2001, Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing and French Foreign Minister Hubert Védrine signed an agreement leading to the center's establishment in 2002.
The center presents exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and workshops focusing on Chinese traditions, language, calligraphy, painting, and tea ceremonies.
The center opens Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 18:00, with Saturday hours from 9:30 to 18:00 except during school holidays.
The courtyard features a replica of a Forbidden City hexagonal pavilion and a statue depicting Confucius conversing with Lao Zi.
