Château de Longevialle

Château de Longevialle is a castle in Val-d'Arcomie with a U-shaped layout comprising a central block and two symmetrical wings. The structure rises across two main stories topped by an attic level, displaying the classical proportions of French manor architecture.

The castle arose in a region marked by the Hundred Years War, and underwent significant modifications during the 18th century. These changes reflect the evolution from medieval defensive structures toward the refined architecture of the classical era.

The facades, roofs, and French-style main staircase, supported by four monolithic granite columns, are protected as historical monuments.

A small square structure is attached to the southwest exterior corner of the property, forming an unusual architectural detail. The grand main staircase in the left wing rests upon four monolithic granite columns, which represents a distinctive structural solution.
