Naïa museum

The Naïa Museum is an art venue in Rochefort-en-Terre showcasing contemporary works across four rooms, a medieval underground section, and a sculpture garden set within the castle grounds. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, photographs, digital works, and kinetic art.

This venue opened in 2015 in the former workshop of Alfred Klots, the previous owner of Rochefort-en-Terre Castle. The transformation of this private workspace into a public art gallery marked the beginning of its role in presenting contemporary creativity.

The collections feature works by over 70 artists from the region and beyond who explore fantasy, science fiction, and surreal subjects through their practice. These artworks show how contemporary creators blend dream and reality using diverse techniques including kinetic art, photography, and digital media.

The visit allows you to view artworks in the above-ground spaces and then explore the underground medieval areas at your own pace. The site is easy to navigate on foot, with paths connecting the buildings and garden.

The venue offers interactive puzzle experiences within the underground medieval sections. These experiences like Pandor'art Experience and La Crypte de Naia allow visitors to engage with the spaces and artworks in a playful way.
