Château de la Berchère, Historical castle in Boncourt-le-Bois, France
The Château de la Berchère stands on a rectangular earthen platform surrounded by moats, featuring a central building flanked by two wings.
Pierre Legault, first president of the Parliament of Burgundy, directed the reconstruction of the castle in 1634, preserving the southeast tower.
The ground floor gallery displays a stone ceiling with carved coffers, demonstrating the decorative craftsmanship of the 17th century.

An 18th-century chapel adorned with stucco work creates a contrast with the gothic openings of the southern tower.
