Château du Bois de la Roche

The Château du Bois de la Roche is a castle in the Breton town of Néant-sur-Yvel with a distinctive V-shaped layout. Different wings were added and modified between the 17th and 19th centuries, making the building a complex of various architectural styles.

The castle began as a noble residence and was remodeled multiple times while keeping its V-shaped foundation as the core structure. During the French Revolution, it suffered heavy damage in 1793 from fighting between royalists and republicans in the area.
