Château de la Cour, Medieval castle in Annecy-le-Vieux, France.

Château de la Cour stands on the northern slope of Annecy-le-Vieux with a main square tower and an inner courtyard accessible through an eastern porch.

The first documented mention of a fortified house at La Cour dates back to the early 15th century, belonging to the La Balme branch of the Menthon family.

The Guigné family, connected to King Charles X's lineage, has maintained ownership since the early 20th century, preserving its aristocratic character.

The castle, situated in a tree-filled park overlooking Lake Annecy, remains a private property and does not offer public visits.

The southern facades feature distinctive watchtowers and a tower with machicolation crowning, whose windows have been modified over time.
