Description
Hôtel Pasteur is a Neoclassical palace in the Thabor area, extending 71 meters in length and 40 meters in width. The building features protruding pavilions at each corner and displays Greek-style columns across its white stone facade.
History
The building was constructed between 1888 and 1897 by architects Jean-Baptiste Martenot and Emmanuel Le Ray. It originally housed the Faculty of Sciences until 1967.
Culture
The facade displays sculptured medallions honoring scientists including Cuvier and Claude Bernard. These sculptures reflect how the building marked itself as a place dedicated to scientific learning.

The building now houses an early childhood school, a digital education lab, and spaces for temporary projects. Visitors can explore the site and discover the different activities that bring the palace to life.
