Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Roubaix, Gothic Revival church in Roubaix, France.

The Saint-Jean-Baptiste church is a Gothic Revival building with a facade featuring towers resembling industrial smokestacks, paired with large stained glass windows depicting religious scenes. The interior contains artistic elements including paintings and carved decorative details.

The building was constructed between 1888 and 1890 during Roubaix's industrial growth period, erected on land donated by a local brewer. These years marked a time when the city was expanding rapidly.

The church houses Spanish paintings from the 1700s and carved oak choir stalls featuring the four evangelists. These artworks reflect the religious tastes and craftsmanship of the period.

The building sits at rue Nicolas-Poussin and received protected monument status in 2014 for its architectural importance. The location is accessible on foot and allows for easy visiting.

The building houses an organ built by renowned organ maker Aristide Cavaille-Coll, which was opened by composer Charles-Marie Widor. This was a significant moment in the musical history of the region.
