Leisure centre of Iloa, Outdoor leisure center in Thiers, France
The Iloa leisure center spans 70 hectares of land between the Dore River, RD44 Department Road, and Clermont-Thiers-Boën railroad line.
The municipality of Thiers initiated the construction project in 1983, leading to the official opening in 1989 with over 150,000 annual visitors.
The center organizes numerous summer activities, including concerts, festivals, and exhibitions focusing on local wildlife and flora within the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park.
The supervised swimming beach operates daily from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM between July 1st and August 25th, with lifeguards monitoring water activities.
Protected under Natura 2000, the center features three orientation courses across its grounds, accessible through specialized navigation maps for individual and group exploration.
