Eglise de la Nativité de Notre-Dame

The Eglise de la Nativité de Notre-Dame is a church in Linselles with a distinctive bell tower that rises above the flat landscape and draws from Italian architectural influence. Inside, a wide central nave opens toward the altar while six side chapels are built into the walls on either side.

The building was completed in 1926 and replaced an earlier 16th-century church that was destroyed during the First World War. This reconstruction took place after the war ended and represented the community's recovery and renewal.

The stained glass windows tell stories from the Bible through their images and colors, created by skilled craftspeople who shaped the visual experience inside the building. These works of art fill the interior with colored light and remain central to how people experience the space.

The interior is easy to navigate with clear views from most points toward the altar area. Visitors have plenty of room to walk around and explore the different sections of the building.

The forecourt in front of the church was designed with a dedicated area where vehicles can safely drop off passengers and wait. This practical addition shows how the space evolved to serve modern needs over time.
