Noviciat des Dominicains, Dominican novitiate and monument in 7th arrondissement, France.

The Noviciat des Dominicains is an 18th-century building in the 7th arrondissement of Paris that was designed as a training center for religious brothers. Its structure combines functional religious spaces with architectural details characteristic of church institutions from this period.

Construction of the complex began in 1682 under architect Pierre Bullet and continued over approximately 60 years to completion. This lengthy building period reflects the care and standards applied to creating such a religious facility.

The building served as a spiritual center for Dominican training and contains religious artworks that reflect the order's role in French religious life. The spaces preserve this spiritual dimension through their layout and how they are used today.

The site is easily reached by public transportation and located in a central Paris district near many other cultural venues. The interior features large halls and multiple staircases, so allow time for exploration and check accessibility conditions before visiting.

The building contains two distinctive staircases, with the southern one preserving its original state while the northern side undergoes ongoing renovation. These two staircases demonstrate different approaches to preserving and updating historic spaces.
